初めまして！

My name is Jonathan, your Math tutor and/or Japanese teacher!

I hold a Bachelor of Science from Syracuse University, Class of 2016 where I studied computer science, information technology, Japanese, and Animation. So you can say I am pretty well rounded. As far as math goes, my tenure as a math tutor began as my part time job at S.U. I am also a certified 7-12 teacher with the State of Texas. See credentials below.

My love for everything Japanese started with anime and gaming at a very young age. The next significant chapter of my Japanese language journey was in 2014 when I had the opportunity to take a semester abroad at Kansai Gaidai University in Hirakata, a college town between Osaka and Kyoto. After graduating from SU, I moved to Osaka to be a K-12 ESL teacher, which I did for 3.5 years. In order to achieve my dream of being a freelance Japanese teacher, I had spent Summer 2023 to attend Human Language Academy in my beloved Osaka (pictured above). See credentials below.
